Poonam is a corporate lawyer who was enrolled as a lawyer with the Bar Council of India in the year 2002. She is also a member of the Institute of Company Secretaries of India since 2002. She has vast experience in advising clients on corporate commercial transactions, labour laws, real estate laws and corporate secretarial matters.
Prior to joining Rayasa Law Partners, Poonam has worked with various law firms and in inhouse position in a listed Indian company. Poonam has advised both domestic and international clients in setting up of business in India, assisting them with their regulatory approvals, foreign investments and foreign exchange laws compliances, drafting and review of commercial agreements and corporate and labour law compliances. She has handled matters relating to inbound and outbound investments and assisted clients in establishing liaison / branch /project offices in India, incorporation of company in India, downstream investments and compounding of offences etc.
Poonam regularly advises her clients on labour law related issues, particularly pertaining to retrenchment, labour disputes, compliance issues
